About Sarah Marie Lowe

With over fifteen years of practice, a decade of full-time teaching, and three years of studio ownership, Sarah brings lived experience and compassion to her classes. She emphasizes mobility, strength building, breath work, and practical movement with structural integrity. Her classes are fun, accessible, and non-dogmatic. Sarah has completed three teacher trainings, including Hatha Vinyasa with Kira Ryder in 2007 and Ashtanga with David Swenson in 2013.

She has taught workshops, retreats, and classes internationally. Her experience ranges from teaching four-week Yoga for Teens in high school P.E. programs to helping a Girl Scout troop in Shanghai earn its yoga badge to teaching weekly studio classes in Brooklyn.

Sarah has also completed continuing education in trauma-informed teaching, teaching to vulnerable populations, and Sonia Sumar’s Yoga for the Special Child programs. Above all, she finds yoga an excellent means of connection and loves helping people of all ages and abilities find ways to access and build relationships with yoga on their own terms. She has been a Fast Feet volunteer since 2020 and is excited to share yoga and mindfulness with athletes of all abilities.
