Fast Feet Advanced Training Class

Fast Feet’s Advanced Training Class is ideal for athletes looking to focus on developing their fitness and competitive racing skills. Through strategic instruction, participants will receive individualized support and training that takes their athletic potential to the next level.

The Advanced Training Class builds on the basic components covered in our community programs but with workouts and a structure that is more demanding, ensuring continued fitness development and growth. This program will be led by two coaches with limited volunteer support. Our coaches have both extensive experience coaching Fast Feet athletes and top high school and adult runners.

Participants should be comfortable with the following:

  • Running for most activities during practice and adding laps or sets when possible.

  • Completing all activities independently, without 1:1 volunteer support

  • Running a total of 2 - 4 miles for the duration of practice [8-16 laps of the track]

  • Completing a track workout like 8 x 200 meters and only stopping during the breaks in between the repetitions.

All athletes will participate in a race at the conclusion of the season. Athletes who register for our Advanced Training Class will also have access to our Community Classes and will become USA Track and Field members, enabling our team to compete at city, state, and national championships.
